The summit envisions to address the challenges of unemployment and generating ideas to ensure gainful and sustainable employment to the youth through deliberations on diverse issues post Covid such as Skill development policies & frameworks for New-age Skills, Disruption by new-age technologies, global and national innovations, best practices & lessons learnt, Career Counseling, global labour markets, Apprenticeship, etc.

Department of Labour & Employment, Government of Gujarat in association with Elets Technomedia, are organizing National Skill Summit Gujarat on 15th July 2020 on Digital Platform.

Objectives

Provide a platform for innovators and start-ups working on rural problems to transform their pilot scale initiatives into impactful ventures for the benefit of rural economy.

Creating collaborative and consortium partnerships for promoting rural innovations and entrepreneurship.

Extend initial support or tie-ups to innovators and start-ups to scale up their innovations.

Provide all the support system for mentoring rural innovators in association with a range of enabling institutions.

Highlight the importance of training along side the NSDC/MSDE and state partnership for better skills, remuneration and standards in a traditional occupation like domestic work.

Create innovation labs/design labs for India on the caption “Design for Tomorrows India” in various institutions with the support of various funding institutions.
